Floral Bhandhini (without blouse)
Floral Bandhani (also known as Bandhej or Bavan Baug) is a specialized variant of the ancient Indian tie-dye textile art, where thousands of tiny, hand-tied knots are arranged to form intricate floral motifs, leafy vines, and blooming patterns. Originating in the vibrant states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, the word Bandhani comes from the Sanskrit root 'bandh', meaning 'to tie
Layered Dyeing: The fabric is submerged into vibrant dye baths. The areas compressed by the threads completely resist the dye, remaining white or matching the previous dye color layer. For multi- colored floral patterns, this process of tying and dipping is repeated multiple times.
The Reveal: Once dried, the threads are unraveled to expose a gorgeous, textured pattern of puckered, raised dots forming a rhythmic floral layout.
Perfect For: Daily wear, office, casual, outing and gifting
